I must say! The Class of 1970 just knows how to have fun and knows how to throw a fabulous party!!
Big, BIG, BIG MAHALO!
A very, very sincere, heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped pull off this wonderful celebration; Val, PK, Frank, Diane, Lani, Gary, Mark, David, Gigi, Dina's daughter (Delsie), husband (Charles), grandchildren (Kahea and Ikaika) and their band Mellow Mood, Kristopher (family friend) and also to those, who without blinking an eye, joined in to help! This grand celebration would not have been a success without all of the help. We sincerely (really!) are so thankful to everyone who attended. It would not have been successful without you! We hope that everyone had a awesome time and that not one of you left disappointed with all the events and the festivities (Firecrackers and Lion Dance) that were planned. To our class of 1970 and neighboring classmates who, for the first time attended or have not attended our events in recent years, we hope that this will not be the last and that we will see you again at most (if not all) of our future events. |

Looking Good! That was the comment we received from bystanders at our Meet & Greet and Sunset Dinner Sail! And I certainly agree!
Question: Is it true that 60 is the new 40? Answer: Yes, the mind matters and it seems that believing that 60 is the new 40 actually makes it true! And, no matter what everyone says, the class of 1970, STILL GOT IT!! What a fantastic, good fun time we had at our “60th” Birthday Ho’olaule’a as we celebrated our milestone birth-year...celebrating each other... and celebrating this journey we've been on called LIFE! We have the best graduating class because of all of the special people in it!! |

The Ali'i Kai Catamaran sail departs from Aloha Tower; Pier 5 approximately 1- 1/2 hours before sunset and will cruise along the Waikiki waters. As the sun sets over the horizon, take in the breathtaking views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and all of the south side of Oahu. After sunset, take in the sights of the Waikiki skyline at night! The Friday night cruise is a 2 hour 15 minutes sail that is finished off with a display of fireworks off the beach of Waikiki before we head back to port. IMPORTANT NOTICE! Roberts of Hawaii, operators of the Ali`i Kai, have requested that we keep a roster of everyone that will be on board. For those that will be paying for the round trip shuttle service, we will also need to provide the names and the hotel where you will be staying at. This is the day where we must all say good-bye once again until the next time. Last chance to talk stories and embrace each other’s company with lots of ono food and fun times!! Kaka'ako Waterfront Park, also known as "Point Panic Park", is a public park south of downtown Honolulu, just off Ala Moana Boulevard at the end of Cooke Street. It was opened in November 1992 on the site of a former municipal landfill and consists of 35 acres of grass-covered rolling hills adjacent to the ocean. There is no sandy beach at this location, and access to the ocean is by concrete stairs. The park has bathrooms, water fountains, free parking, picnic tables, an amphitheater, pay telephones, paved jogging paths, and popular surfing spots, "Point Panic" and "Flies".
